DELANEY'S DAD LYRIC VIDEO
This lyric video, drawn by hand, explores generational trauma with whimsy. In youth, it can easier to reflect on internalized queerphobia with a personal distance; this is animated into the facelessness of Delaney; anyone can be Delaney, afraid of the expectations of their family to remain heteronormative. The experience of LGBTQ+ youth and their journey towards self-acceptance is animated in this visual for Moira & Claire, a Canadian folk duo, released October 2022.
JULIAN'S TREES LYRIC VIDEO
Drawn by hand for The Ladles, this animated video uses motion graphics and vibrant colors to propel the story forward. With quick transitions, large text, and natural settings, this film explores how artists themselves are not unlike the world they represent.
Released in early 2022, this short film has a distinct artistic style that allows the viewer to travel to different environments, both that of nature and of fantasy.
